ASSIGNMENT: Uptown was hired by Morristown Utility Systems 6 months prior to commercial launch of their FTTP system to assist with start-up tasks. Uptown oversaw development of their FTTP brand identity, negotiated their phone provider wholesale agreement, developed their Year 1 marketing/advertising campaigns, services pricing and packaging, secured numerous video programming contracts, developed the sales plan and conducted sales training, and created a detailed monthly operating budget.

OUTCOME: MUS successfully launched their FiberNet FTTP system in March 2006. The system has achieved 34% penetration and is meeting business plan objectives.
